Cast iron/Stainless steelWear-Resistant and Corrosion Resistant Slurry Pump
This slurry pump ensures reliable performance under strict operating conditions. It requires a minimum flow of 30–35% of BEP, prohibits dry running, and limits gas content to below 5%. Additionally, temperature fluctuations must stay within ±40°C to prevent damage and ensure long-lasting, efficient operation.
Design Features
Corrosion & Wear Resistance
The TMU-ZK series slurry pump is a cantilever-type, single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump. Its wetted components are lined with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), offering exceptional corrosion resistance, outstanding wear resistance, and anti-creep properties (resistance to environmental stress cracking). The metal-reinforced structure further enhances pressure-bearing capacity.
Versatility
single pump adapts to diverse working conditions. It can handle:
Acidic/alkaline clear liquids or slurries, Corrosive slurries in metallurgy, Various dilute acids in the sulfuric acid industry, Wastewater in environmental applications, and more.
Multiple Sealing Options
The series supports flexible sealing configurations: K-type dynamic seal, Single mechanical seal, Cartridge mechanical seal, Double mechanical seal. Selection depends on specific operational requirements.
Product Installation
The pump must be securely mounted on a stable foundation to isolate it from external mechanical vibrations.
Foundation specifications:
Weight ≥ 3× the total weight of the pump unit.
Footprint area must exceed the baseplate dimensions.
Place cushioning material between the baseplate and foundation.
Ensure sufficient maintenance space around the pump for servicing.
Inlet Piping Installation
Avoid upward bends in mid-pipeline to prevent air pockets that compromise performance.
Pipe Connection Standards
Clean all connected pipelines thoroughly before installation.
Inlet/outlet pipes must have independent supports; never transfer pipeline weight to the pump casing.
Valve Configuration
For suction lift operation: Install a valve at the outlet.
For flooded suction operation: Install valves at both inlet and outlet.
Recommended: Install pipe compensators at inlet/outlet to facilitate maintenance.
Product Application
This product is widely applicable for liquids such as acids, alkalis, salts, oils, food and beverages, alcoholic products, organic solvents, etc. It is particularly suitable for conveying highly corrosive liquids containing fine particles.
